Dear Members,

As the Autumn finals series begins and the season wraps up, we want to thank each and every one of you for being part of another fantastic season with Yarrambat Phantoms. We hope the players have grown in skill, confidence, and team spirit—and most importantly, had fun.

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers—coaches, team managers, committee members, and all the supportive families and friends. Your dedication is what makes this club thrive.

Our committee is already hard at work preparing for the Spring 2025 season. Please remember that teams are formed in line with our Team Selection Policy, which ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all. Mid-year Skills Sessions have now begun, and we encourage players to attend—these sessions, along with coach reports and independent assessments, help us build balanced teams.

Registrations close midnight, Sunday 22 June. Some age groups have already reached capacity—please check our social media for waitlist info. Team lists will be announced on Monday 14 July. We ask all members to re-read our Code of Conduct and continue showing respect to coordinators, committee members, and volunteers.

To our teams competing in finals—congratulations and good luck! Please remember to represent our club with pride. Any abusive behaviour will result in disciplinary action. Check our socials for DVBA’s game day expectations.

Thank you to those who completed our Club Member Survey. Based on your feedback, there will be no mid-year presentation. Instead, we’re planning a carnival-style celebration in December—stay tuned! Teams are encouraged to celebrate this month with their own end-of-season gatherings. Coaches/Team Managers will share award info soon.

To those finishing their junior careers—congratulations on reaching this milestone. We are proud to have been part of your journey and hope basketball continues to bring you connection and joy.
